Aging Care Matters Services
Consultation, Caregiver Coaching & Counseling
For individuals and family members who just need direction and prefer to handle care themselves I provide consultation or counseling services. Families can ask questions while I provide direction, answers, recommendations and resources within our meeting timeframe. This can be utilized for a one time service or set up appointments as needed.
*Hourly Rate based on the length of meeting time.
Assessment & Care Planning
Many families wish to have a detailed individualized care plan developed for their specific situation. I meet with the family and their loved one and conduct a full assessment and provide a detailed plan of care which includes recommendations, specific referrals, and educational materials for long term planning.
*Average service completed within five hours.
Independent Living & Assisted Living Support
When the tasks seem too large or time-consuming, or families do not live locally, they can rely on Aging Care Matters, LLC to implement the developed care plan and provide consistent monitoring of their loved one’s status and well-being. This may include accompanying/transporting to medical appointments, weekly visits, being ‘on call’ 24/7 and providing detailed updates to out-of-town family members.
*Clients are billed monthly for services completed. Prepayment options provides discounted rates.
Aging Care Matters offers three level packages for every budget. From daily to weekly calls, good old fashion mail and in person (within safe COVID protocol) visits our team will make sure your loved one is receiving direct contact on a regular basis.

*Initial set up flat fee with monthly package price based on level of services needed
Emergency Pet Care
Our pets are family and their love unconditional. Sometimes our clients need someone to make sure their pet is taken care of if they have to be hospitalized or have a stay at physical rehab. We are on call 24/7 to advocate for our clients and to ensure anything they need taken care of – is taken care of! Pets included.

Personalized Tai Chi
Jennie Griggs, MA is certified in multiple exercise and wellness programs. She provides clients personalized home lessons helping caregivers, as well as their loved ones, learn the benefits of Tai Chi. Tai chi is one of the most effective exercises for the health of mind and body and is taught around the world. Tai chi helps people to relax and feel better.
Tai Chi for seniors relieves physical effects of stress, promotes deep breathing, improves lower body and leg strength, helps with arthritis pain, reduces blood pressure, enhances mental capacity and concentration, improves balance and stability by strengthening ankles and knees and promotes faster recovery from strokes and heart attacks.
